It’s Jetsetting season! So while you’re getting your passport stamped, check out our list below on caring for your permanent makeup while on vacation!

• Pack light!

Make sure you put to good use all those makeup bags you’ve collected over the years and pack travel sized products so you don’t risk TSA  throwing away your good stuff!

• Pack Essentials in your carry on!

In case the airline misplaces your luggage, make sure you keep your essentials close! Items that may not be readily available at a local drug store such as Concealer, foundation, facial cleanser may not be easy to replace.

• Invest in Leak Proof bottles

There is nothing worse than arriving at your destination and opening your luggage to discover you’ve had a spill. A bottle with a screw on top is less likely to leak than a bottle with a flip lid design.

• Make your appointment in advance!

There is nothing better than waking up in the morning and having less on your ‘to do’ list and more time to relax! You won’t have to worry about sweat or a dip in the pool when you have permanent makeup! Schedule your services in advance if you know you are headed out of town and would like a permanent service.

• Use Sunscreen!

Even on the cloudiest of days your skin can still be exposed to harmful ultraviolet rays. Don’t skip the most important part of your permanent makeup routine this summer! A zinc oxide based sunscreen can protect skin and brows and act as a base layer for foundation.
