Raleigh Permanent Makeup Chronicles: Microblading vs Nano Machine

Raleigh Permanent Makeup Chronicles: Microblading vs Nano Machine

Let’s talk Microbalding and the Nano Machine!

Microblading and Nano Machine hair strokes are two popular techniques for creating the illusion of fuller, more defined eyebrows. Both techniques involve using a handheld tool to deposit pigment into the skin, but there are some key differences between the two.

Microblading involves using a handheld tool called a microblade, which consists of a small row of fine needles. The technician uses the microblade to create hair-like strokes in the skin by manually depositing pigment into the epidermis (the top layer of the skin). This technique is often used to create a natural-looking brow line, as the strokes mimic the appearance of natural hairs.

On the other hand, the Nano Machine hair strokes use a handheld tool similar to a traditional tattoo machine. This tool uses a fine needle to deposit pigment into the skin, but the needle is much finer than the needles used in traditional tattooing. The technician uses the machine to create hair-like strokes in the skin, similar to microblading, but the strokes are finer and more precise.

One of the key differences between Microblading and Nano Machine hair strokes is the depth at which the pigment is deposited. In microblading, the pigment is deposited into the epidermis, which is the top layer of the skin. This means that the pigment will fade over time and will need to be touched up periodically to maintain the desired appearance. In contrast, the pigment in the Nano Machine hair strokes is deposited into the skin’s deeper layer of dermis. As a result, the pigment lasts longer and does not need to be touched up as frequently.

Another difference between the two techniques is the amount of discomfort involved.

Microblading can be a bit more painful than Nano Machine hair strokes, as the needles used in Microblading are slightly thicker and go deeper into the skin. However, both techniques are generally well tolerated and any discomfort can usually be managed with the use of numbing cream.

Ultimately, the choice between Microblading and Nano machine hair strokes will depend on your individual needs and preferences. Both techniques can create beautiful, natural-looking brows, but the depth of pigment deposition and the level of discomfort may be factors to consider when making your decision.
